The Gift of Sight When costly life doth make the spirit pine, And shadows fall upon the weary eye, To see the world is surely gift divine, A blessing sent from out the azure sky. Yet some do walk in darkness and in fear, With heavy hearts in these our troubled days; To bring them sight, and wipe away the tear, Is to bestow a hope that truly stays. The soul, once dim, is transformed by the light, With confidence renewed, the heart is gay; The joy to see their loved ones in the sight, And eager look toward a brighter day. One gift of sight transforms a family, And gives them hope to face what is to be. 2026.04.24![]()
