Sonnet
Dear Father Soft dawn recalls the warmth your hands once gave, In dreams I walk the fields where you still stand, Light crowns your brow beyond the mortal grave, Voice like a stream still sings through memory's land. In heaven's court, your laughter blooms like spring, No shadow dims the kindness you bestowed, Over the years, your love's enduring wing Abides, a star to guide me on my road. Gold years have passed—one hundred-twelfth today Unseen, yet near, you bless each step I take, In every prayer, your name lights up the way, Reminding me no bond of heart can break. Return, if only in the hush of dreams, Eternal father, where your spirit gleams. 2026.04.22![]()
