Trump and Iran Affair Once best allies, now parted by the sea, Where ancient friendship turned to bitter hate. They aimed to harness nuclear energy, But fear of weapons sealed a darker fate. The Western hand that helped the program grow, Now turns against the fruits of its own seed. On Feb'ry twenty-eighth, the bombs did blow, Trump strikes in fear of nuclear-armed greed. Oh, ironies that haunt the Middle East! What once was given must now be undone. The war machine is fed the very beast, That western hands helped nourish in the sun.
